This summer we had the first ever encounter by Nicola and Tyson (right near the lodge and up close!) with a bison. Bison (buffalo) have been expanding their range in Yukon and are now exploring our valley.
We also had a pack of wolves late in the season take up residence in the valley. The sound of howling echoing in the hills was truly amazing.
